Terms of Service

Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using CampSquad ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and CampSquad ("Company," "we," "us").
Free for families
CampSquad is free for families.
Parents and guardians may create accounts, browse programs, build summer plans, invite friends, and use all family-facing features at no cost — now and in the future.
Camp and program provider fees
Camps, after-school programs, and activity providers ("Providers") who list programs on CampSquad agree to the following commission structure:
- Enrollment commission:10% of the enrollment price per child enrolled via a CampSquad referral link or tracked enrollment. A commission is owed only when a family completes enrollment through CampSquad (source = 'campsquad').
- Featured listings: $79 per month. Providers may opt in and out at any time; billing is prorated for partial months.
- Premium listings: $149 per month, billed annually. Includes priority placement, enhanced profile, and performance analytics.
- Free listing: basic listing with program details is always free for Providers.
Invoices are issued monthly. Unpaid balances after 30 days may result in listing suspension.
User accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts for purposes of abuse or spam.
- One person may maintain one family account. Camp providers use a separate provider account type.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent program listings.
- Harvest or scrape user data from CampSquad.
- Attempt to access accounts or systems you do not own.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Camp quality — disclaimer
CampSquad is a discovery and coordination platform, not a camp operator.
We list programs provided by third-party organizations. We do not operate, supervise, or guarantee the quality, safety, or suitability of any program listed on CampSquad. Families should conduct their own due diligence before enrolling their children. CampSquad is not liable for any incidents, injuries, losses, or dissatisfaction arising from programs booked through or discovered via our platform.
Intellectual property
The CampSquad name, logo, and product are owned by the Company. You may not use our trademarks without written permission. Program descriptions and content submitted by Providers remain the property of the Provider; by submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CampSquad shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed $100.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from your Profile page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections on Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law survive termination.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alameda County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of CampSquad after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
